Recommended Supplements - Page 2

Vitamin C, 500 mg, and Vitamin E, 200 IU: These two antioxidants specifically act together to stimulate NO production. Vitamin C can worsen heartburn, so don’t take it before bedtime. We specify 200 IU of vitamin E because of studies suggesting that 400 IU may not be as good for overall health. CAUTION vitamin E supplements should not be used by people who are taking aspirin. Vitamin E adds to the anti-clotting effect of aspirin. Use the higher dose of pycnogenol instead of the vitamin E if you take aspirin.

L-citrulline: L-citrulline and L-arginine are the raw materials for NO production, but L-arginine is largely broken down before being absorbed by the body. L-citrulline is an important intracellular source of L-arginine, and what is inside the cell is what counts for NO production. There are no studies of treating erectile dysfunction with L-citrulline, but Dr. Ignarro has shown it to be effective in increasing NO in blood vessels in a rabbit model, and there is every reason to think that it would do the same in the human. We recommend powdered L-citrulline in the dose of 2 gm per day, but the optimum amount is not known. Natural sources are melons, particularly watermelon.

Pycnogenol: We recommend increasing intake of natural antioxidants such as blackberries, blueberries, chocolate, red wine, green tea and lots of fruits and vegetables. Also, pycnogenol is a potent antioxidant that helps decrease the breakdown of NO and has been shown to be quite effective for improving erectile function. We recommend 50-120 mg of pycnogenol per day.

Green tea or green tea extract: Green tea contains lots of antioxidants, may have a calming effect on the brain similar to meditation, and may reduce the risk of prostate cancer. We recommend the equivalent of 3 cups per day.

Chocolate: Chocolate has potent effects on NO production, but it usually contains a lot of sugar, which reduces NO. You can get all of the advantages and minimize the sugar with a reduced sugar chocolate. Matitol does raise blood sugar but it is broken down to glucose, which has less adverse effect than sucrose, the usual sugar added to chocolate. You will get to enjoy it as much as regular chocolate, but don’t overdo it. This is our only recommendation that could make you gain weight. An ounce or so will give you lots of antioxidant and is enough to look forward to each day. Have some for a mid-afternoon break along with a cup of green tea.
These supplements are all quite reasonable in price. They will cost you a lot less than Viagra, Cialis or Levitra, and if you do require some extra help, you will need a lower dose of these medications. We have done the work for you to find the recommended doses and best available prices, which are comparable to or less than what you would pay in the usual retail store. Rather than just treating the symptom (erectile dysfunction), you will be improving your erectile function and improving your vascular health! You will know exactly how well you’re doing. You have the ultimate indicator right there between your legs!

Testimonials

  1. 64-year-old married grandfather and cancer survivor

“Something very interesting is happening here. Since taking these supplements, I’ve not only had better erections, but my desire has really increased. Things that haven’t gotten me aroused for many years now do, and I find myself thinking about sex much more often, like when I was a young man. Someone should measure testosterone levels before and after these supplements. I bet they’re higher”.

54-year-old accountant married for 30 years

“After a few weeks on the omega 3’s I knew something was very different. One morning I got up to shave and I just couldn’t stand it. I hopped back into bed for a “quickie” that turned out to be not so quick. Boy, did we have to rush to get me out of the door in time so that I would not be late for work. That has never happened before in many years of marriage. It was a very good feeling.”

60-year-old physician married for 34 years

“After increasing my intake of folic acid, omega 3’s and antioxidants, we were on a vacation and after having had a great meal of white fish the previous evening, we just stayed in bed the next day like honeymooners. We’ve occasionally made love two or three times in a day when on vacation years ago, but this time was a great surprise. That day was better than we had ever experienced, even on our real honeymoon many years ago.”

    52-year-old fire-fighter married for over 20 years

“It’s been much harder than I’ve experienced throughout my life. Many times it’s been so hard that it is impossible to imagine it being any harder. Now I really do know how hard, hard is!”

    50-year-old pilot, and recently divorced

“My girlfriend has commented that our time together keeps getting better and better every time we make love. There was one time, recently, when she wanted me to make love to her again shortly after we just finished. I was a bit nervous because it has been a long time since I have been able to multiple times. I was greatly surprised to find myself rising up to the occasion and she was very happy with my performance. I am not used to receiving compliments for my performances in bed. This was a new one for me”.

    42-year-old attorney and recently remarried

"I've been athletic, fit and generally in very good health throughout my life. At age 42 and newly wed to my soul mate, I never really imagined our intimacy could be better, and we had not experienced any problems in this area. However, within a week of adding fish oil and folic acid supplements to my diet, both my wife and I noticed some performance enhancements. The blood flow, duration and intensity of our intimacy seemed even better. With no other notable changes in diet or exercise, it seemed these supplements had noticeable positive effects. I'm also aware of research indicating the supplements can improve cardiac health, so for each of these reasons, I take my fish oil and folic acid daily.
